Neurolaw was founded on the belief that advances in our understanding of the brain do not end in the laboratory; they create questions for the law. Inspired by Jeannie’s work in Alzheimer’s disease research, we explore how emerging medical knowledge shapes legal capacity, informed consent, and patient autonomy. We report on the evolving relationship between brain science and the justice system through a student journalism lens.
